Given the more than usual Alice and Wonderland quality of life in DC these past months, a glance at World War I techniques for lying to the public is in order. Although the brilliant George Orwell penned instructive fiction in his classic dystopian novel 1984,  we can avail ourselves of the real non-fiction stuff.  For, example how about the Brit Arthurby Ponsonby MP and his 1929 book, Falsehood in War-Time?
